#futuremining2019

The 4th International Future Mining Conference

AusIMM’s International Future Mining conference returns to Sydney in November 2019, headlined by the theme of ‘Get Future Ready’.

Top researchers and industry leaders will present ideas on the future mining industry needs in the digital age, transforming mining systems through integration of advanced technologies, and how to best achieve operational excellence with cost competitive, safe and environmentally responsible operations.

Mining production is vital for global socio-economic development but faces a variety of challenges, ranging from deeper orebodies and lower grades to other various social and environmental issues.

To eliminate and overcome these challenges, the mining industry must develop emerging technologies, create new ways of thinking, and research culture and approaches toward integrating advanced technologies.

With many internal and external factors impacting the future of the mining industry, the key is to prepare and get future-ready. This conference will provide those who attend with the tools to do so with topics such as automation, communication, smart data management and the most up-to-date ways of efficiently extracting mineral resources.
